Getting Ready for Your Design Consultation

• Bring your ideas and your dreams with you, as well as any drawings, room measurements, photos, or print outs.
• Have a good idea of the project budget you have in mind
• Write down all your questions ahead of time so you can be sure that everything is covered when you talk with your Secor project specialist
• Bring your ideas with you: color samples, magazines, product catalogs and portfolios, etc.

What is a Consultation Like?

A typical design consultation may take from one to three hours, depending on the size or complexity of your project. If you have small children, it is always a good idea to arrange ahead of time for child care if possible so you can maximize your consultation time.

To make sure we schedule all the time you need to answer your questions and help you decide on what eatures and products work best for your project, we will ask you some basic questions about your project when you call to schedule your appointment. For example:

• Is your project going to be new construction or are you remodeling an existing room or building?
• What types of items are you interested in for your project?
• Is your project an out building such as a garage, or are your remodeling an existing room you your home (kitchen, master bath, cabinets, den, etc).
• How many rooms are involved in your plans?

If you are selecting one or two items, a walk-in visit may be all that you need. For larger projects, scheduling a consultation ensures that we will be able to help you make informed decisions for your project’s success!
